She's worried. She says I'm going about this all wrong. 
 
"I know," I told her. "That's fine." 
 
"Well that's part of it," she added. "The not caring, I mean. It's all a part of doing it wrong, isn't it?" 
 
"Sure," I said. "Not caring is part of it."
